Before starting

After 1 year

After 2 years

After 3 years

I was circumcised at birth. I will not go too deeply into my reasons for why I wanted my foreskin back, because honestly I do not think I can put into words exactly why I did. All I can say is that I needed to regain control of my body and of my body image. At any rate, around three years ago I determined to do something about it.

I tried several various methods before settling on the MTC Method described on this website. After two years and nine months had passed, I could legitimately say that I am no longer circumcised, but I still call it a work in progress. When I started, I knew I would have been happy with any kind of outcome at all, but the results have been so successful and so controllable that I feel able to have a definite look in mind to work towards. It has been three years so far, and based on my previous growth rate, I calculate it will take another one to two years before completion.

One thing I was concerned about was how 'fitted' the foreskin would be. Being expanded from the foreskin around the base of my glans, I feared that my it would not taper and be more or less a cylinder. However, that has not been a problem at all. The foreskin conforms tightly to the glans all by itself, and beyond that, it has been very easy to adjust the tension levels and precisely control the shape it grows into. I am also extremely pleased that it functions normally--in terms of retracting, protracting, and staying protracted--just as it should. To the casual observer, it looks completely natural. No one who has seen it (at least when flaccid, when the scar line is not visible) believes it was ever different, and that includes my doctor.

Sensation was never a primary concern--that was not why I wanted my foreskin back--but on that front, too, the restoration has been a great success. After the first six or so weeks of being covered, my glans softened tremendously and had grown more sensitive. It continues to slowly improve every week. Sex and masturbation feel much different with my penis being able to glide on my foreskin. I would not go so far as to say they feel greatly better, but I personally would not go back.

I have a small mole on my penis, visible in some of the photos, that has made it very easy to track my foreskin's progress. When stretched, the mole was once at the very base of the glans and there were three quarters of an inch of foreskin above it. Now, the mole is an inch higher and there are two and a quarter inches from of foreskin above it.

The past three years have sometimes been difficult, but it has all been worth it for the simple fact that I can say, for the first time I can remember, that I am comfortable with my penis.
